What is Credit Union Fest all about?
The second annual Credit Union Fest is a unique opportunity for four local credit unions to come together with our surrounding community for a day of entertainment and family fun.
Our purpose is to spread awareness about credit unions and dispel the myth that credit unions are only for a select few.
WHEN? Saturday, September 14th from 1 pm till 5 pm
WHERE? Just follow the tunes and the scents of the delicious fest food straight to Lafrerniere Park.
What’s Happening Out There?
· Live Music from 2 hot local bands: Sugar Shaker followed by Flow Tribe
· Food Trucks and Drink Stations
· Arts and Crafts Market
· Unlimited Rides on the beautiful park Carousel

· AND…drumroll please…Grand Prize Raffle for 2 of the hottest concert tickets on the planet! Yep, one lucky CU Fest attendee will win two seats to see TAYLOR SWIFT on Sunday, October 27th at the Louisiana Superdome!
How much are the tickets and how do I get them?
That’s the best part! The fest is FREE & open to everyone. Plus there is NO PURCHASE REQUIRED to enter the Taylor Swift Ticket Raffle, but you must be present to win!
Starting September 5th, stop by any branch to pick up your POECU gift from us to use on festival day to keep cool!

*POECU members, we’re upping your chance of winning those tickets! On Credit Union Festival Day, there will be 5 finalists will be on stage for the drawing. Each of the four host credit unions will have one representative as our finalist. The fifth finalist will be selected from all raffle entries and it doesn’t matter if they are already a member of a credit union or not.
What does that mean for you? You may be selected as our official finalist. We will pull the name of our POECU Finalist on Wednesday, September 4th. from all POECU member entries submitted by midnight of September 2nd. The representative must be 18 or older and commit to being present at the festival, because you must be present to win! If we are unable to contact our selected representative by 4:00 pm on Friday, September 6th, we reserve the right to select another finalist.
If you miss our September 2nd deadline for our POECU finalist, fear not…you still have a chance to win as long as your entry is submitted by the cut-off time announced at the fest. To summarize: All remaining POECU entrants, along with any new entries submitted up to the announced cut-off time at Credit Union Fest remain eligible for the drawing of the 5th finalist spot, which will be drawn on stage at Credit Union Fest. All finalists will receive a runner-up prize but only One lucky finalist will win the Taylor Swift Tickets!
