100th ANNUAL MEETING RECAP

 

We were excited to have so many members join us!

On Wednesday, May 15, we were proud to host our 100th Annual Meeting and thrilled to have over 200 members and guests join us for the momentous occasion.  Board Chairman, Joe Battaglia reported several highlights from 2023 including the addition of  229 new members, making 624 loans totaling over $9.3 Million, and going green by offering e-statements to our members.  
Supervisory Committee Chairman, Charlie Chandilora reported that our LOFI examination and 2 additional audits went smoothly with any findings quickly addressed. Two of our board members were re-elected by acclamation and we congratulate both Joseph Lopinto, Jr. and Kristy Adams on retaining their seats. Financials were shared by Board Treasurer, Dennis Brouphy which showed a 2023 net income of $516,516 and assets totaling $49.5 Million.

Scholarship Winner

We are very proud to announce the winner of our 2024 Guy C. Comes Scholarship, Nathan J. Ruda.
Nathan is not only an exemplary scholar but his high school years were filled with awards, honors, well-rounded extracurriculars, and athletic achievements.
We congratulate Nathan and wish him much success as he pursues a college degree in Civil Engineering at Mississippi State University

Employee of the Year!

Our 2023 Employee of the Year was awarded at the meeting and we congratulate this year’s honoree, Yolanda Miller!
Yolanda exemplifies outstanding member service, has an infectiously positive attitude, and is willing to serve in any capacity necessary to help a fellow team member.
